Brownlow were initially brought in to design, manufacture, and install three dressing rooms—but the project quickly evolved into a full turnkey interior solution for much of the home. Our client immediately connected with our approach to presenting drawings and finishes, and valued the confidence we brought in delivering a beautiful, refined space—on time and with careful project management.

Following the dressing rooms, we moved on to other areas of the house, where we selected and managed wall finishes, lighting, loose furniture, and accessories. We wanted each space to feel distinct and purposeful, ensuring that every room in this large home would be used and enjoyed.

When we first visited the house, it had been finished to a high standard, but it was empty—without furniture or lighting, it felt incomplete. Now, it feels like a cohesive home that oozes luxury and character. While each space has its own identity, there’s a subtle thread of continuity that ties them all together.

As you enter the house, you’re greeted by a charming and spacious hall and dining area — a space that already had fantastic bones. We elevated it further with bespoke benches, stools, curated accessories, and standout burnt orange dining chairs that bring warmth and character. The wallcovering in the dining space, from Altfield, introduces a layer of subtle glamour, tying the whole look together beautifully.

After a meal, you can retreat to the adjacent whisky lounge — a true standout in the home and one of our personal favorites. This is the playroom for grown-ups, where we allowed ourselves to get creative with bold color, rich textures, and a confident mix of layered, mismatched materials. The result is a space that feels both fun and refined — the perfect balance of personality and sophistication.

The whisky bar’s cabinetry is elegantly painted in ‘Goblin’ by Little Greene Paint Company, setting a rich, dramatic tone for the space. Dark timber frames and smoked mirror backboards create a moody atmosphere, infusing the room with energy and sophistication. The brown marble top, harmonising with the earthy tones of the floor, adds warmth and natural texture.

Subtle LED lighting within the bar cabinets highlights the cabinetry’s features, casting a gentle glow that enhances the intimate feel of the room. Carefully curated accessories in shades of blue, orange, and neutral tones echo the room’s color palette, completing the design with a thoughtful, cohesive touch.

From one lounge to the next, these two rooms offer distinct atmospheres and experiences. The family room is a vibrant, inviting space, featuring bold orange accents that express the client’s playful side. Amber accessories add warmth and character, making it a welcoming environment for guests. In contrast, the media lounge is designed with relaxation in mind, offering the perfect setting for television watching. A built-in bar caters to both cozy coffee breaks and late-night gin and tonics, creating an intimate and functional space for unwinding.

Client Google Review

As many will know, finding the right partner in this process can be mind blowing, so many websites and really hard to define who’s the right fit. We looked at 4 different companies, and even visited them. Brownlow was head and shoulders above everyone and here’s why; – Their showroom and facility showcased their amazing work, it was clear the type of business they are, so professional.

On our first visit they had nailed the design of what we wanted, and even better they had all of the woods, fabrics, handles and marble out on display from the mood boards they’d presented. It just brought everything to life and it took 2 minutes for us to sign things off (this is not the norm from any of their competitors we visited). – The biggest difference by far was Hannah, what a superstar! She was so invested in what we wanted, so passionate about the details and delivering the vision, you truly don’t find people like this anymore.

The best way I can validate Brownlow is that we originally intended to do a couple of rooms with them and ended up doing the whole house. We couldn’t be happier and the collaboration with my Wife and Hannah has given our house a unique and amazing look, we really didn’t want a cookie cutter approach. Thank you Hannah and team!

Whether it’s a home study, a dressing space, or a bespoke bar, at Brownlow, we take the time to understand your personal style and guide you in creating beautiful, functional spaces. Unlike many others, we have an in-house workshop that caters to all your cabinetry needs, meaning every detail is meticulously crafted and controlled under one roof.
