Firstly, drinking whisky isn’t essential to enjoying this room… but it certainly helps.

This space is curated for unwinding with an evening tipple—whether perched at the bar or relaxing in the soft seating area. Though compact, we designed the room to comfortably include a small bar alongside low seating for six, creating an intimate, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for a cosy winter evening.

We had real fun developing the colour and fabric scheme. The starting point was the wall colour—‘Goblin’ by Little Greene Paint Company. This rich, dark teal set the tone for layering deep blues, burnt oranges, and warm timbers. Mark Alexander curtains, bespoke sofas, and loose cushions bring in even more texture, colour, and pattern to complete the look.

The hanging bronze metal drinks shelving, complete with back-lit alabaster, was crafted in-house at our Cheshire workshop.
