The family room at our Caldy project is a welcoming, light-filled space designed for connection and comfort. It serves as the heart of a busy home—perfect for relaxing while someone else is preparing a meal nearby. A large television anchors the space, complemented by two generously sized lounge sofas and a bespoke bench. Upholstered in a rich burnt orange velvet, the bench echoes the fabric of the dining chairs in the adjacent room, creating a subtle visual link between the spaces.
The sofas are styled with a curated mix of bespoke cushions alongside selections from Romo and Laura Hammett Interiors, adding layers of texture and tone. Open shelving is accessorised with pieces sourced from a variety of suppliers, including Eichholtz and Baobab, creating a rich, lived-in feel. A subtle wallpaper applied to the back of the shelves adds depth, while soft, warm white LED lighting—discreetly hidden from above—enhances the ambiance and highlights the carefully chosen styling elements.

The bespoke cabinetry is finished with bronze handles sourced from Armac Martin. We selected a semi-circular design with a ribbed edge detail—an elegant touch that adds scale and subtle drama to the otherwise flat cabinet doors, elevating their simplicity with refined character.
