A Sanctuary of Style in the Bedroom and Dressing Room
For our Watersands Bedroom and Dressing Room project, the brief was to create a master suite that functioned as a complete, cohesive, and luxurious retreat. This involved a turnkey solution where we transformed the existing bedroom, dressing room, and bathroom into an integrated space.
By removing walls, blocking up windows, and reimagining the entire floor plan, we designed a suite that feels significantly larger, brighter, and more attuned to our client’s lifestyle.

Spatial Planning and Redefinition
The transformation began with a bold approach to spatial design. We treated the area as a blank canvas, effectively removing all pre-existing boundaries to redefine flow and functionality.
A key decision was to relocate the bed, which created space for a dedicated dressing area to house our client’s collection of clothing and bags.
The redesigned layout also made room for a lounge area within the bedroom, complete with an end-of-bed sofa, occasional chair, and generous television.

Materiality and Colour Palette
The client desired a warm, neutral palette with refined accents of aubergine. This was achieved with soft, neutral wall colours serving as a calm backdrop to the space’s richer elements.
Warm timber was selected for the bespoke cabinetry, while light, tactile upholstery was used for the custom-designed bed base and headboard. Bespoke scatter cushions provided subtle injections of colour, elevating the aesthetic without overwhelming it.

Tailored Features and Smart Details
Luxury is expressed in every detail. The emperor-sized bed, dressed in light and inviting bedding, serves as the centrepiece.
Bespoke bedside cabinets combine visual appeal with utility, featuring integrated charging drawers to keep technology discreetly stored.
The suite is equipped with a smart system, allowing control of lighting, television, and music from the bedside. For illumination, hand-made lamps by Porta Romana add refined character.
The dressing room highlights precision-led, tailored design. Wardrobe doors are finished with Arte wall covering and furnished with Buster and Punch handles.
Internally, the cabinetry is custom-planned for the client’s needs, with compartments for bags, shoe pull-outs, spaces for jewellery, and integrated lighting. An Andrew Martin sofa completes the lounge setting at the foot of the bed.
