The ensuite at our Watersands project underwent a comprehensive redesign. The client’s vision centred on a bathroom that would evoke calm and serenity—transforming what had been a disconnected space into an inviting retreat. The execution required methodical planning and an unwavering eye for detail.

Strategy and Layout

We began with a complete spatial reassessment. By reimagining the shape and flow of the room, then refining the arrangement of fixtures and fittings, we were able to optimise space and cohesion.

The result is a bathroom that feels both larger and purposefully designed, each element working in harmony.

Execution and Fine Detail

Attention to detail defined the next stage. The ensuite now features precise tiling with minimal grout lines, providing a continuous and refined appearance.

To maintain uninterrupted visual lines, the shower tray, seat, drainage, and storage were all integrated within the same tile finish—minimising clutter and promoting a balanced aesthetic.

British Design and Materials

Several respected British manufacturers feature prominently throughout the bathroom. Perrin & Rowe’s bronze sanitaryware brings warmth and refinement, complemented by wall lighting from J A Adams.

The vanity, crafted from a single sheet of porcelain by XTONE, is both striking and practical, serving as the focal point of the space.

Storage and Functionality

Practicality was paramount. Deep, concealed storage is built in behind mirrored cabinets, ensuring ample space for daily essentials while retaining a sense of order and calm on every surface.
