Timeless, understated and elegant.

These were the words that sprung to mind when we first walked into the finished country living kitchen in Telford. The Regency Farmhouse was home to a lovely couple and their two children. A home perfect for a family.

Not originally the kitchen, this bright airy space was occupied by an almost forgotten drawing room.

Taking up valuable sunlight and vistas, it was of paramount importance that this room became the kitchen. From a small, narrow and dark space to the north of the house, the kitchen was transformed into a spacious and sophisticated room with wonderful views onto the surrounding farmland through the beautiful bay window.

The almost freestanding cabinets on the right-hand side of the room really give it a furnished feel and make it more of a well-rounded living space and a center of the home. The muted cabinetry colors really showed full respect for the materials and design and compliment the use of leather handles, hand-antiqued glass and beautiful granite. This was truly, a very special home.
