This dressing space is the perfect retreat for our client, sandwiched between the bedroom and ensuite it offers a tranquil place to get ready for the day ahead. The storage space consists of some closed wardrobes and some open, shallower wardrobes for displaying shoes. We feel it is much easier and nicer to have only one pair of shoes deep within a shoe cabinet so you can see all pairs at first glance. Made from a combination of solid European oak and real oak veneer, the entire space has been stained in our in-house stain Ash and finished with low sheen clear lacquer to create a dark timber grain with a matt surface finish.

The dressing table drawers house plugs for the hair dryer and hair straighteners so these can be kept plugged in, yet out of site. It is crucial to us that the space not only looks beautiful, but also functions with ease so our client can enjoy the room on a daily basis. On top of the dressing table are two beautiful brass mirrors from the Sophie Patterson collection by Armac Martin and tucked below the dressing table is our Lola Boucle Stool.
Creating the hotel experience whilst at home, this master suite complex consists of a sleeping area, lounge area and also a small kitchenette for the essential morning coffee. The super king bed sits within an upholstered headboard that we designed and built to fit within a wall recess, cradled either side by our Supelllex bedside cabinet. Both the bedside cabinets and the matching chest of drawers have been finished in our Ash stain so they match perfectly with the clients dressing space.

The purpose of the lounge area was to create a little hideaway within the house that the owner could relax in undisturbed, this compact area neatly houses a sofa, coffee table and media wall with central television and surrounding shelving to display decorative objects. These lit, shelved areas add a homely touch to the space.
We initially started spatial planning this home when it was in the very early stages of the build, we played an instrumental part in laying out each space to ensure they incorporated all the client’s requests and still maintained a nice flow. We drew initial renders of the spaces to help our client visualise the yet to be built areas.
